Refund Policy


At PETSHELPS, we are deeply grateful for your generosity and support in helping us rescue, treat, and rehome animals in need. Donations are the lifeblood of our mission, and we are committed to transparency and accountability.


1. Donations

  • All donations made through https://www.petshelps.org/ are voluntary and non-profit.
  • Donations may be one-time or recurring (monthly/annual), depending on the option selected by the donor.
  • We accept donations via trusted payment processors (e.g., Hoodpay, Stripe, PayPal) to ensure secure transactions.
  • A receipt will be issued via email for every successful donation.


2. Use of Donations

Your donations are used to support our programs, including but not limited to:

  • Medical treatment and surgeries for animals
  • Food, shelter, and rehabilitation
  • Rescue operations and transportation
  • Awareness campaigns and adoption programs


3. Refund Policy

Since donations are voluntary and intended to support charitable work, we generally do not offer refunds. However, we understand that mistakes can happen. Refunds may be considered in the following cases:

  • Duplicate Donations: If a donor accidentally makes the same donation multiple times.
  • Unauthorized Transactions: If a donation was made fraudulently or without the donor’s permission.
  • Processing Errors: If technical issues with our website or payment processor caused an incorrect charge.


4. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, please contact us within 7 days of your donation with the following details:

  • Full name
  • Date of donation
  • Donation amount
  • Payment method used
  • Reason for refund request

Once reviewed, approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.


5. Recurring Donations (Subscriptions)

  • Donors who choose recurring donations can cancel at any time by contacting us.
  • To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, please request cancellation at least 3 business days before the renewal date.


6. Tax Deductions

Depending on your location, donations may be tax-deductible. Please consult your local tax authority or advisor for details.
